Weekend Recap: 4/19-4/20

This weekend was a BIG one jam packed full of celebrations and fun, good practice for this coming weekend as well!
Saturday started off with a bang and some sore toes. I conquered my longest run of training, the big 10 miler. My knees were feeeeeeling it around mile 9 but my end view was well worth the pain.

I finished with a 9:30 pace and 30 minutes to get my butt showered off and changed to head off to Morgan's bachelorette brunch at the Puffy Muffin. Three blueberry pancakes and two apple juices later I was feeling much better and loved spending time with good friends all gushing about the upcoming nuptials this weekend!
Then it was back home for sweats, DVR, and an epic nap [face down in the couch cushions epic.]

Saturday night was one I will remember, and probably blab on about, forever. Maureen and I went to go see The Goo Goo Dolls The Otis Midnight Sessions tour at 3rd and Lindsley.

I N C R E D I B L E.
We lucked out and found an amazing spot on the back wall with a straight on view of the stage. We stood for two and a half hours in wedges and it was worth it all the way.

I probably tweeted #dying nine hundred times but it was just a surreal night!
I tried to Instagram video as many songs as I could without crashing the app.
You name it they played it: Name, Iris, Black Balloon, Come to Me, Better Days, Sympathy, Acoustic #3. Gah, the list goes on.
Just amazing.
Oh, best part? Home by 11pm. Post grad win.

Sunday was Easter and what a wonderful day it was. I came home to Hendersonville for mass, Easter baskets, an amazing ham dinner, and car wash time with dad! It was perfect.

And now it's HALF MARATHON week, mom and dad's 27th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY, Sara's BIRTHDAY,  and Morgan's WEDDING. There just aren't enough caps lock words to describe my excitement/anticipation for the week to come!

Posts to come!
