I am firm believer that music can control a mood. And when running 13.1 you need the best mood you can get!! My first half marathon I used Pandora "Black and Yellow" radio which was great until it cut out once we got farther back in the neighborhoods. So this time I came prepared, my Spotify playlist "Doses and Mimosas" was linked up and ready to play "offline." Those neighborhoods weren't gonna get me this time!
This playlist was awesome! I beefed it up to run for 2:44 so I could skip songs if I wanted to and still make it to the finish line! There are a couple slower ones in there but they have sentimental value and helped to get me through those mentally exhausting stretches [put your brave face onnnnnn.]
So whether you're a runner or just need something new, here you go.
