I'm gonna wish I had a storm warning

Boys are funny. They always complain about women being too emotional. And here's what I have to say to that, Sorry I'm Not Sorry. At all. Today's challenge really isn't a challenge at all, I've got at least six emotions going on at all times. But with NYE right around the corner and my dress arriving tonight I've got two emotions that are bubbling over right about now. The final post of my challenge is coming next and while at first I was slightly intimidated I am already looking for my next one and recommendations are always welcome! Oh right so two emotions...

Day 9: 2 Emotions That Describe You Right Now

1. Anticipation it's NYE, I am like a 5 year old the day before it's their day to be the line leader
2. Love after a movie night with momma and tea this morning I am full of love

This is from Pinterest, don't worry I'm not one of those girls

'Cause I know I can count on you

This one should come as no surprise if you've been in my car within the last week/are my friend on FB and can therefore see what I listen to on Spotify over and over again and again stop judging. Florence + The Machine is just fabulous and simply adding fuel to the fire, this selection was the song in the very last scene of the very last Gossip Girl ever. You'll become addicted too, you know you love me. xoxo.

This time baby you can Hang it Up

One of my favorite co-workers can only sit next to a select few of us during lunch because she can not deal with the sounds people make while eating. We were having a good laugh about it one day, things got out of hand, someone looked it up and it's a legitimate mental disorder. So next time you call a girl crazy, it was you who probably made her that way with your insentient smacking while eating Zaxbys. And if after reading last Thursday's post you think you can be the Eric to my Ariel please read this post, be honest with yourself, and then decide if you should even try to hollar. Kgreat.

Day 7: 4 Turn Offs

1. Chacos
2. If you smack when you chew/gulp when you drink
3. Are you a Liberal/Democrat, Ravens/Patriots/Packers/Titans fan, Northerner, think Cameron Diaz is hot
4. Are you a multiple texter? Do u txt like this? Yeah..

All I know is I had the best day with you, today

There's that book The Five People You Meet in Heaven, well this post is the five people who make life heaven on earth. That was extremely cheesy, it's also Christmas so lay off. These are in particular order except for the first, she's #1 always, you will not all be asked to be in my wedding if I get my way there will be like 20 people at my wedding but I can't imagine life without y'all [tear].

Day 6: 5 people who mean a lot, in no particular order

1. Mom
2. My five girls, if you're reading this you know who you are this is cheating and I do not care
3. Dad
4. Jofus
5. Sophie She is a tiny fuzzy human

Family and close friends. Can not go wrong.

Funny how the heart can be deceiving, more than just a couple times

Regret is a nasty little feeling. I've had it enough times in my life. Still haven't found the cure for it yet, although prayer does help with the not sleeping because of it thing. This one was a another toughie, didn't want to get too personal with stuff but if read my blog you already know I tend to anyway. So here are 6 things you should never try...

Day 5: 6 Things You Wish You Had Never Done

1. I wish I had never lived with a "good" friend of mine. We don't speak anymore. And she has three of my bowls and my Titanic DVD..
2. I wish I have never not applied for the Y&R internship in NYC that summer because of a boy
3. I wish I had never totaled the black Mercedes
4. I wish I had never worn the wrong Steeler shirt during Super Bowl XLV
5. I wish I had never included "friends" into my circle of trust
6. And of course, I wish I had never told my mom I wanted a new mom I was 4 but it counts

Or do you not think so far ahead, cause I've been thinking about forever

You know those people who get those heavy stare sessions going and their eyes look like they've completely checked out from this planet? Yeah, I do that on the reg. If I ever look like I'm bored/not paying attention I may actually not be paying attention but nine times out of ten I'm just paying attention to my thoughts more than you at the moment. There are those things that are on our mind for two, three days tops and then there are those topics that are always topics of our internal conversations/struggles. So, welcome to the mind of Pekarsky...

Day 4: 7 Things That Cross Your [My] Mind A Lot

1. Things I need to do in the next couple hours/days/weeks
2. Who the Steelers play next and how to get that 7th Lombardi Trophy
3. Song Lyrics
4. Mentally picturing my future judge away, this is usually when certain songs come on during traffic filled commutes home
5. What event/wedding/birthday/holiday is coming up next and how to fit that in my budget
6. How much my run is gonna suck that weekend how awesome I'm gonna look this summer, jk jk
7. How I can irritate/love mom even more

But I know love is mean, and love hurts

Fair warning: this is going to be an interesting one. And I'll admit that I cheated and started working on this post the minute I saw it on the list. To quote Avril Lavigne, I am the one who had to go and make things so complicated. I've had two "loves" of my life. And both relationships ended with a phone call and me crying in the upstairs office bathroom. And I have days where I'm afraid I'll never find the "good"s of those relationships again and am terrified I'll find the "bad"s again. I also have days where I refuse to put on underwear, so there's that. But anyway, this was suppose to be a challenge right? So here we go...

Day 3: Eight Way to Win Your [My] Heart

1. You have to let me yell and scream at the TV on Steeler Sundays. I know Tomlin/Roethlisberger/Clark can't hear me, but I just need to talk it out with them anyway.
2. You have to support me in my ambitions and at the same time if I say I wanna be a stay at home mom support that too.
3. Respect how close I am with my family.
4. You can not be afraid to pick the bathroom door lock with a bobby pin and get in the shower in your clothes with me and let me just rant. I am great at saying "I'm fine" when I'm really not.
5. You can never ever ask to work out with me. I'm knock knee'd and run funny and a couples workout will never happen.
6. Be able to come into my circle and be friends with my friends. I will try my hardest to do the same with you.
7. Deal with my faces and comments about everyone and everything.
8. When I get stressed I get mean. You've got to be able to reel me back in. You can call me a "bitch" I call myself one.

Anyone up for the challenge?

'Cause we are living in a material world

I have many the reason why I do not care for Mr. Kayne West. No one bad mouths my man, W. So when Bruno Mars' latest album Unorthodox Jukebox came out last week I knew I had found my Wordy Wednesday and Kim K's man had finally been topped. Money Make Her Smile > Gold Digger. ANY TIME ANY DAY. Drop the mic...

side note: after catching Bruno Mars' performance on Graham Norton Saturday night Mom is now loving him and his band, they're just precious AND they dance. FF to 2:20 to watch them bust a move on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

This pretty little thing I swear won't let you down

Lucky you, it's hump day and since I'm doing my 10 day blog challenge AND Wordy Wednesday you get TWO amaze posts. So here we go, Day Two. I know you can't wait to learn nine things about me. And I know Mom is cracking up right now knowing I put these things on the internet.

Day 2: Nine Things About Yourself

1. I eat clockwise around my plate and my food can not be touching
2. I am extremely superstitious about the numbers 6 and 8. And the number 7, it's my UN-lucky number.
3. I am a carb-o-holic. It's probably because mom could only eat dry bagels when she was pregnant with me. Sorry Julie.
4. I have a school supply/office supply obsession. If it's monogrammed EVEN better.
5. There is a running joke that I will get married during Halftime of a Steeler game. Also that my husband's groom's cake will be in a corner and I will have a Steeler cake. I however was not kidding about these things.
6. I swear a lot more than a 5'2" 115 lb 22 year old girl from the South should. I am also a Pittsburgh sports fan. Explains some of the expletives.
7. I did not step on the seal until graduation day. At THE University of Tennessee it's said that if you step on the school seal outside the library before graduation you won't graduate in 4 years.
8. I say my A's like a Northerner. It's a "taaaaaaalent" y'all
9. I can insert Mean Girls quotes into daily life like no other. It's also why my hair's so big, it's full of secrets.

She viewed life as a challenge

Was sitting in traffic Monday morning trying to think up my "10 things" idea for today's post and started texting some of my best friends who also blog to give me ideas and instead I got served a challenge. Instead of doing just a "10 things" list I'm gonna give a "10 day" list a go. This will get us through the holidays, during which I'll think up some good "10 things" ideas like not thinking them up during lunch or traffic "good"  So here is my first post of my very first Ten Day Blog Challenge..

Day 1: Ten Reasons You Love Your Job

1. We're the perfect size agency. I get to have lunch with David Bohan at least once a week and know everyone's name and football teams so we can talk smack at lunch.
2. Two words: Breakfast. Bar. yeah, it's amaze
3. My Media Director, I don't think I'll ever be able to learn/soak up all the knowledge he has.
4. The Engagement Team. 5 women and Rich. So blessed to have them as my co-workers and superiors.
5. Location Location Location. Nashville. The Gulch. Enough said.
6. My accounts. I get to work on some pretty amazing accounts, for being a rookie.
7. I have a legit office and I'm 22.
8. Staff meeting are F-U-N. People doing headstands, pop quizzes for airplane bottles, and BIG ASS TVS. I have never laughed so hard in a "meeting".
9. Our creatives do some of the most AMAZING work. I am so proud to say I work here and point out our billboards/work while out and about.
10. It was/is my dream job. ...that I some how by the grace of God landed.

Silence

Yesterday was the third Sunday of Advent, Gaudete Sunday. It's the Sunday when the  the lone pink candle is lit and traditionally the priest wears his rose colored vestments. The pink signifies that the third Sunday is suppose to be one of joy and celebration for the impending arrival of the lord. However, yesterday Father Eric was not in his rose colored vestments and instead of a homily full of happiness and joy we had a time of silent prayer and then as a congregation prayed a decade of the rosary for all the innocent lives lost in Newtown, CT. Father Eric explained to us after careful thought and prayer, his decision to forego the tradition of Gaudete Sunday, and I am thankful that he did. The silence that enveloped the church was more moving than any homily could have been. With all the coverage on the news, and now the political storm after someone's visit, maybe the best thing to do is to turn the TV off and instead embrace the silence and say a prayer for the souls of those heroic teachers and tiny innocent children lost and their families. Just a thought..

Music is what feelings sound like

I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. Do not listen to Frank Ocean at work. I'm not kidding. The man's voice is way too sexual. Too bad he bats for the other team, the good ones usually do. I would try and pick my favorite off his channel ORANGE album, but then I'd list like 7 songs. So I'll just give you one of my top 5. Go ahead, get Lost see what I did there

Girl you know you're lost
Lost in the thrill of it all
Miami, Amsterdam
Tokyo, Spain, lost
Los Angeles, India
Lost on a train, lost

But God can be funny

We are in the final 48 hour countdown before Sophie and I make our way to Nashville BNA airport with flowers and a WELCOME HOME sign in tow to finally bring mom and dad home from their wonderful trip to Vienna. They've only been gone a week today but since their departure we are down a fridge and a toilet. And yes, I want to be a homemaker one day.. Friday night I came home from our Very BOHAN Christmas party to find a warm fridge/freezer and this morning I woke up to water coming through the family room ceiling from Joe's bathroom upstairs, the toilet looked like a fountain. So with my retainers still in, I called dad. His response, "We needed to re-do that bathroom anyway" oh and he's already been looking at new refrigerators online in Vienna. And you know what? He's right. We're all healthy and happy and I didn't die putting the Christmas tree up this weekend. The house is all ready for the entire family to be together well once I get the towels off the family room floor and I'm ready to have everyone back. So while I was almost in tears while driving to work this morning, Joe took his first college exam this morning and I was probably just as stressed about it as he was, toilets and fridges can be fixed, Sophie jumping on my head at 1am because of thunder is something you can not replace. So just remember to find that small glimmer of humor in whatever is happening, it's always there I promise.
Welcome home!

Complete with presents under the tree and stockings hung by the chimney with care

Oh take me home, let me go all day

So I'm taking a cue from one of the best/most consistent bloggers I follow, Mrs. Lauren Hayes-Watson, and rambling...

I moved home after graduation for what I thought would be a couple months until I found a place downtown and move on with my "grown-up" life, FF to 7 months later...I am still at home and actually loving having this adult time with my incredible parents. I moved into what was the rec room which is like its own little studio apt with full bath above the garage and although it wasn't my blue room with my giant built in shelves it has grown on me, much like being home has grown on me. It's nice to have dinner with mom and dad every night, listening to mom laugh while watching goofy shows like Wipeout, and always having someone to talk football or politics or what whatever celebrity who dad has latched on to their name for the moment did at whatever club last night. It's really easy to brush off our family and forget how valuable their sometimes unwanted love and support can be. This is the first year in a while I haven't had a Christmas list, I'm having a better time scheming picking out and ordering their presents. Christmas is truly about Christ, the savior of the world, coming into this world but it's also about giving to those who you love.
Introduced  mom to the amazing world of Rotel during  a "date" night
This is what happens when you leave mom alone with Halloween decorations
Vodka Tonic and Wipeout with the Midge
Just watching TV with dad's crocs

Whatca doing Sophie?

Which brings me to my next ramble... I was talking with one of my favorite #postgradproblem partners in crime, Miss Ashley McCloud, about Christmas presents for friends. I did gift cards for some people this year and while some might think they're not as personal as a present you picked out I think they're great for us 20 somethings. I only have two friends I can actually give their present to them in person because they will be home for the holidays, everyone else is spread out chasing their dreams. It's the thought that counts y'all. Those of my friends who are getting gift cards are getting gift cards to go towards something they're been wanting or the store/brand reminds me of roomie dates we used to have in college. Also, for those of us on a tight Christmas budget, they are SO easy to send in a Christmas card. Friendships are relationships, you have to work to keep them at 100% so if you've got 10 min write a cute little note to them, you have no idea how much it will mean to them when they check mail after having a suck day or maybe even week. Brady Quinn had one of the best press conferences I think I've seen after the Chiefs emotional win last Sunday, if you haven't seen it here's the YouTube clip. I had to DM my little brother they other day to get him to reply to me. GET OFF THE TWITTER. Talk to your friends, send them a little note, call them on the way home from work. It's the Christmas season y'all.
"Just because" Halloween cards to my loves

"Just because" birdie card from my DC love Jenn
Made my night, she wasn't even trying

Okay okay I'm done now. But seriously think about it. My mom LOVES fresh flowers so every chance I get I'll pick her up one of the 3 for $12 bouquets from Publix. I will be attempting to set up the Christmas tree while they're still on their get away to Vienna so when they come home it'll be full of Christmas cheer. The saying "it's the little things" really is so true especially during the giving season.

It takes your breathe, 'cause it leaves a scar

So I had a post all ready to go for today and then fate intervened. Okay, maybe not fate more like friendship and that weird moment when the right text comes on a not so right morning. The cold that worked its way through Joe then Mom has now blessed me with its presence and I am now a mouth breather. On top of that Sophie was up ALL night with squeaky stomach I swear it sounds like the dog has rubber bands in her stomach and then mom and dad called from Vienna at 6:20am my time. I had been waiting to hear from them but at 7am, so I sounded half awake and was wide awake after we hung up. On top of that I had to stop and get gas this morning after waiting and waiting for Sophie to eat her grass salad so she could vom and feel better. I fully expect on having to clean up more vom once I get home tonight. Then I was FINALLY driving to work and got a text from Sara who is ENGAGED btw with a song title. So while sitting in stand still traffic I got on Spotify and found it. I then proceeded to listen to it five time in a row until I pulled into our lot at work. We've both dated some real losers, like will never live it down losers. Sara has since found her one, Patrick, and is planning a gorg wedding for October 2013 and I can not wait to dance with her at her reception because we both came out on the other side being able to laugh about those boys and now it's our song on the radio, so can I hit ya never?

but now MY song's on the radio

On the brink of something close

Happy New Year all my #catholicgirlproblems. This past Sunday was the first Sunday of Advent and therefore the New Year in the life of the Catholic church. So today's 10 things may be a couple weeks early for the general public but it's the perfect timing for us good Catholic daughters, resolutions. Some of these I make every year, but how can you get better at something if you don't keep practicing? So maybe this will get you thinking about your own resolutions list. You can always make 6 month resolutions and then reevaluate in the summer. No judging here. I made last years resolutions while walking with mom on New Years Eve and I am proud to say I accomplished both: have a job before graduation and run the Country Music Half Marathon. So here's a peek at my 2013 list,

10 things...on my 2013 New Years Resolution list:

1. Run the Country Music Half Marathon in 2 hours or less NO bathroom breaks this time
2. Go to mass every Sunday doesn't matter what parrish or time, just go
3. Keep my nails done
4. Spend more time with my dad that doesn't involve swearing at the TV
5. Treat my family to something every month make dinner or surprise cards, just something to show I love them
6. Not date or not be concerned with dating
7. Keeping the swearing down to a minimum outside of Sunday Steeler games
8. Try and not be so damn judgey or as mom would say, I need to be nicer
9. Give at least 156% at work, everyday
10. Love a lot more

You and Me baby, we're stuck like glue

I went to bed already dreading the sound of my dreaded iPhone QUACK QUACK QUACK alarm(s) I usually set AT LEAST 5 Mom and I had an epic Rotel-Redbox girls nights leaving one bag of tortilla chips, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, 2 Peach Propel Zeros, Step Up Revolution, and lots of laughs in our wake. Bed time was extended to midnight. What is this college?? But before my alarm could start quacking I woke up to the sphling of my email going off and for once it wasn't a Media Post newsletter. No, this was much better, BRIDESMAID EMAIL!!! I got the sweetest email from one of my brides-to-be, Oller, with wedding colors, bridesmaid bios, AND the best thing of all pictures of Em trying on wedding dresses. While I can not share details of the Lunn-Oller wedding I can share my wonderfully written bridesmaid bio. It truly is great. So come on October 5, 2013.

Caroline Pekarsky- The Roommate and Sorority Sister (aka PK/Squeegee)

"Brendan and I have unofficially adopted her as our first child. She's always the perkiest person in the room and loves everything Polo. She can advertise a shoe box and make you wanna buy it. She is the epitome of a southern belle and will support her Pittsburgh Steelers till death. If ever in need to sweetly insult someone call Caroline for a 'well bless her heart'"

I heard my love was a season that you wore for the pretty girls

I have this enduring quality of being emotionally challenged. I have some complex when it comes to opening up and just saying what's wrong. I would be better suited to play the guy role when it comes to dating. I'm awesome at pushing people away. So after having another failed attempt of a date this past weekend, that didn't even make it to the damn date, it's a fantastic story really and then having to explain to mom and then dad what was going on and one Zaxby's Wings and Things meal complements of my amazing dad I did what I always do, lay on the floor of the shower. I have a couple favorite playlist for nights like these, so I shuffled that baby and cranked the water as hot as it would go. While I was sitting there this song came on and I knew I had found my Wordy Wednesday post. I originally found this song on a One Tree Hill Spotify Playlist and now I share it with you. Hopefully you can find something in the lyrics too.

I guess you need a little sugar
Cause you always wander around
How would you like a little fancy
Whenever you feel a little inside out
I heard you need a vacation
Said I bored you right to tears
I heard my love was a season
That you wore for the pretty girls
You said no
That's not the way it goes
You said no
That's not the way it goes
But it is, don't lie
I've seen that curl up around your smile
And it is, don't lie

Who do you think that you're kidding this time

Only I know, I know you get lonely at night
I know, I know you get lonely sometimes
I know, I know you get lonely at night
Nobody knows you like I do

I guess you need a little sugar
Cause you never wait around
I heard you like it to shiver

It's like right up your spine
I saw you walking with him
Down the steps that I walked you in
I got hurried for midnight
With slippers of glass and perfect fits
You said no
That's not the way it goes
You said no
That's not the way it goes
But it is, don't lie
I've seen that curl up around your smile
It is, don't lie
Who do you think that you're kidding this time

Only I know, I know you get lonely at night
I know, I know you get lonely sometimes
I know, I know you get lonely at night
Nobody knows you like I do

Nobody else waits on you
When your hands shake like the breeze
And your mind is a permanent dream
Left your head long before you broke through my door
Baby, baby, but it is, don't lie
I've seen that curl up around your smile
It is, don't lie
Who do you think is gonna be laughing this time
It is, don't lie
I've seen that curl up around your smile
It is, don't lie
Who do you think that you're kidding this time

"Am I wearing lipstick?"

If I had a nickel for everytime mom asked me this I could buy her Revlon. No, not the color stay display at Target but like the company. Momma's lipstick obsession stems from her momma, the always fabulous Betty Jane, and has turned into our little joke and now my inspiration for this week's 10 things. As a girl with an affinity for mascara I've run the gamet with finding the perfect and affordable mascara. And as a young person who has also run the gamet with breakouts I have tried every foundation/tinted mouisterizer/supposed miracle product out there. I am also a proud member of Monogramholics Not Annoynmous and do you know how many monogram/color combinatins they have for make-up bags? So this week I open up my monogrammed make-up bag to the blogosphere and share with you,

Where I come from, you say things will be well and fun

How you know Joe is home: mom bought actual breakfast food, like muffins. And in less than 24 hours I will still be in pjs wrapped up in my Beauty and the Beast blanket sprawled out on the couch yelling at mom that IT'S A HOLIDAY. I know for me this Thanksgiving holiday has been full of love and friendship with lots of cards back and forth and even presents hidden in laundry piles sneaky sneaky momma. So when thinking of a song for Wordy Wednesday yes I am on time with this post this week I immediately thought of the lyrics from one of my favs off the Breaking Dawn Part 2 soundtrack go ahead judge, it's SO good though  As we all travel to "where I come from" remember "they're just things, silly little things." I know that I could add at least five or six extra blessings to my 10 things... post from yesterday and I'm sure you could too. So tomorrow, I will not worry about calories or email or the fact that both my football teams are crumbling Burress, really Tomlin really? and just enjoy the dog waiting for turkey to fall from heaven and dad sticking his fingers in the candles still can't figure out how he does it/too chicken to try it myself. Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

"Stay close believe, though things are not what they seem. They're just things, silly little things. The're only things, I think we'll be alright."

They're just things, silly little things

For the past 20 days now I've seen Facebook statuses from people listing something they're thankful, one per day. I think it's a great idea. I think 30 days of these statuses on my timeline is a bit excessive, but at least they're trying right? More than most of us can say. So for today's 10 things list I'm gonna give this notion a whirl. I'm gonna try and go more for the spiritual things more than the material things, but I am a millennial so don't judge me. It's the perfect time to take a step back and truly be thankful for all my blessings; Joe comes home today, I just spent four wonderful vacation days with my best friend who just happens to be my mom, and it's just under 48 hours until turkey day itself. And who knows, maybe this post will inspire you to take five, ten minutes, or even the whole day to really think about all you have been blessed with in your life.

                                                            10 things...I'm thankful for:

1. My incredible, supportive, out of control, shambly, blessing before dinner saying, budget book keeping, yard work Saturday doing, football watching, sit down family dinner having, talking to the dog, always loving family
2. My health
3. My education, paid for by my hard working successful father so that I may be hard working and successful too
4. BOHAN Advertising. My media director. My amazing senior planner. Our whole team.
5. Having had and lost that first love. I now know that can exist.
6. Some of the best friends. Never judging, always loving.
7. A mother who is also my best friend, never being afraid to share her past so I can learn/grow from it. A father who has taught me to be driven and hard working. And their marriage, a model for me to base my future relationship on.
8. My faith. I wouldn't trade having #catholicgirlproblems for anything.
9. Living in the same house for the 22 technically 23 years I've been on this earth. Right across the hall, sharing a bathroom and secrets with my crazy little brother.
10. Being so young with so much life ahead of me.

Happy Thanksgiving y'all. Remember the real reason we all venture home for this holiday.

Eyes are wide like cherry pies

So I missed Wordy Wednesday by a mile was working till 2pm then driving across to the land of Rocky Top and no longer orange pants (RIP Dooley and your hot accent) and yeah, missed Tunes Thursday too was speaking on the Young Alum Panel in ADV 490 and I have no idea what clever thing I could have come up to call a Friday or Saturday post so I'm here in my unwashed Steeler shirt, uggs, and norts to present you with Songbird Sunday. In previous Wordy Wednesday posts I shared the scandy sound of Lana Del Rey, well she's back and I am once again obsessed. Last night during that horrible game I was flipping through this week's People and I 100% agree with their Sexiest Man Alive choice and in their book/music pick section was Lana Del Rey's Paradise EP...flash forward 5 minutes to me blasting the below track in the shower. There are 8 tracks on the EP or you can download Born to Die- Paradise Edition. I now have Spotify playlists of all three. Don't let the first line throw you off, it's a go to track. And because I fell off the blogging wagon so bad it left a bruise last week I'll give you another of my guilty pleasures for an added bonus. This past week's Gossip Girl's soundtrack was all but personally DJ'd by Frank Ocean himself and this little gem is the newest addition to my "Starred" Spotify playlist. And don't worry while I'm bumping to these jams in the shower I will also be brainstorming a very special Top 10 for Tuesday. But for now it's time to drink a few beers, swear at the TV, and tweet Ryan Clark even though he's on the field. Tonight's menu: rat bird. #blackandyellow.

WhooOooOOoOa Dixie Land

Today's Wordy Wednesday is brought to you by the land of Cotton, where everyone drives a truck, drinks sweet tea, watches every NASCAR race, and has known the words to Ring of Fire and Saving Grace since they were in the 4th grade doing their Tennessee History play. Although the election last night didn't turn out the way I had prayed it would I am still so happy to be from the great state of Tennessee, a state that went red. We have a Republican governor and are part of the best region of this great country, the South. All these reasons and more are why I love my southern comfort zone. Keep repping your elephants y'all, this is when we need to the most.

Cause you are my one and only, you can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me

If you follow me on Instagram which you should, cpekarsk you know that I now know 7 places to met someone other than a bar. My mom is crazy but she loves me. And just wants me to finally have what I've wanted my whole life, someone to love and love me.

I don't know if Ed Sheeran wrote this song himself, but if he did I"m hoping he did whoever you are who loves Shrek, you are one very lucky and loved girl. I give you the sweetest song lyrics pretty much ever.

I should ink my skin with your name
And take my passport out again
And just replace it
See I could do without a tan
On my left hand,
Where my fourth finger meets my knuckle
And I should run you a hot bath
Fill it up with bubbles

'Cause maybe you're loveable
And maybe you're my snowflake
And your eyes turn from green to gray
In the winter I'll hold you in a cold place
And you should never cut your hair
'Cause I love the way you flick it off your shoulder

And you will never know
Just how beautiful you are to me
But maybe I'm just in love
When you wake me up

And would you ever feel guilty if you did the same to me?
Could you make me a cup of tea
To open my eyes in the right way
And I know you love Shrek
‘Cause we've watched it 12 times
But maybe you're hoping for a fairy tale too
And if your DVD breaks today
You shoulda got a VCR
Because I've never owned a Blue ray, true say

And now I always been shit at computer games
Because your brother always beats me
And if I lost, I’d go across and chuck all the controllers at the TV
And then you’d laugh at me
And be asking me
If I'm gonna be home next week
And then you lie with me 'till I fall asleep
And flutter eyelash on my cheek between the sheets

And you will never know
Just how beautiful you are to me
But maybe I'm just in love
When you wake me up

And I think you hate the smell of smoke
You always try and get me to stop
You drink as much as me
And I get drunk a lot
So I take you to the beach
And walk along the sand
And I'll make you a heart pendant
With a pebble held in my hand
And I'll carve it like a necklace
So the heart falls where your chest is
And now a piece of me is a piece of the beach
And it falls just where it needs to be
And rests peacefully
So you just need to breathe to feel my heart against yours now
Against yours now
‘Cause maybe I'm just in love when you wake me up
Or maybe I'm just in love when you wake me up
Maybe I fell in love when you woke me up
