When I finally do it I'm gonna do it right

With each passing day another friend gets engaged. They did it, they found their person.
And I'd be lying if I said it didn't get me thinking about when I eventually find my person and jump into this marriage thing.
Pinterest, Twitter, and Tumblr blogs are full of quotes about love.

"Find someone who knows you're not perfect but treats you like you are."
"Blah blah blah"
"Something sweet overlay-ed on a precious picture of a fake couple"

However when I was driving home yesterday this song came up on my Spotify "Matt Howard" radio.
I instantly thought, that's what I want my love to be.
I've had my parents wonderful love to watch for 23 years and it is the epitome of this song.

"Well, maybe I'm a crook for stealing your heart away
Yeah, maybe I'm a crook for not caring for it
Yeah, maybe I'm a bad, bad, bad, bad person
Well, baby, I know.
You love love love when you know I can't love."

So maybe, one day, far far away, I'll have someone who can love love love when I'm being a brat and can't love.
