Please and Thank You

I tease my mom, a lot. I tweet things she says and does and #lifewithJulie. I phone stalk her, calling the house then her cell then the house. I saw f**k way too much around her.

We all say we were blessed with amazing parents and moms. But I am convinced there is an extra chromosome or some gene Julie was born with that made her the incredible mother, best friend, wife, partner, friend she is.

Mom did the whole husband, big white house, kids thing on her own. No family to help, just her. She got up every day thinking of everyone but herself, making sure all our lives ran perfectly. She deals with dad's work rants, my work rants, and just Joe in general. She might be part demi-god.

When I went through my rough patch, she never judged, always listened, had the guest room made up for me every weekend, and was 100% right there with me.
She doesn't ask about boys anymore, just waits for me to share. She always asks about work and popped champagne with me after my first career buy even though she has no idea what a CPP or GRP is. She is the biggest fan of my life.

I mentioned in my previous post we're going flea market-ing this weekend as an early birthday adventure for her. She didn't want me to spend money on a present for her because I have my house now. Again, this woman was cut from a different cloth. So, since Blogger is free and I took lunch to type this out this is present #1.

Julie, you're my best friend. Love you momma. THIS MUCH.
Happy early September 9th. 9957.
