Here we find ourselves again, another Sunday another red carpet to critique while waiting for laundry to dry. I will admit I was kind of disappointed with the SAG red carpet this year. There was lot of black, dresses with unnecessary embellishments, and Ariel Winter's cleavage [bless her].
My first two picks have one common denominator, color.
While it usually bothers me when a dress is in between floor length and tea length, Sophie Bush in Marchesa is stunning. I love the subtle accent of the flower in the crease. Simple hair brings the whole look together and makes the dress the focal point.
Michelle Dockery and Elie Saub are a match made in vertical color block striped heaven. This dress is incredible, I would wear it in a heartbeat [and probably never take it off.]
My next two are all about some bling and beading.
Emily Blunt would put Daisy Buchanan to shame in this gorgeous beaded number by Roberto Cavalli. Again, simple hair is key with all these looks.
I don't think I've ever done a red carpet round-up and not had Giuliana on it.
After all, when you're the host of Fashion Police you need to be looking better than them all.
Finally, my signature "ringer" of the night.
Claire Foy in Valentino. Yes, Queen, yes.
