Try to tell you stop but your lipstick got me so out of breath

In an attempt not to slam my head against my desk repeatedly today I took a quick 5 minute sanity break and read through some of the Advertising 490 blogs and I must say I'm impressed. I may have a couple favorites, but I'm not kissing and telling. So, in ADV 490 throw back fashion I'll share my social media brag tale of the day/week I don't do this on the reg anymore, little rusty  I'm a lip licker, no not a lint licker easily confused, have been since I was little. If I get super zoned out on a project, read, or coloring book I will lick my lips. This cute little quirk paired with running in four seasons worth of weather and prescriptions make keeping my lips hydrated a living hell. Then I discovered EOS, Evolution of Smooth, you know the little pastel colored eggs you see in the pharmacy section of Target? They are a gift from the lip licking savior god himself/herself/itself and it gets even better because they have wet/dry shave gel, hand lotion, and others. If I was Oprah thank God I'm not that fat I would give everyone an EOS and put them on my Favorite Things episode for sure. BUT I"m not, SO back to today, I was about to lay on my office floor and die when I got a text from momma, simply reading "Presents *EMOJI PRESENT ICON* yes, I know, I should have never downloaded that app onto her phone. Julie had done the impossible and found the elusive orange and dark pink EOS eggs! So because Dr. Childers trained me well, I impulsively screen-shot'd that text and tweeted it. And guess WHAT, EOS replied. It's like I'm a star eyed college senior again... So, once again ADV 490 children, it pays off to be a fan boy what did I tell you?

And don't you worry, I passed @eosproducts message on to momma.

You see rainbows when I see rain, isn't that strange

This entire post should probably be written in size smallest font because quite frankly Jenn Pesek and I's daily gchat/text/drivinghomestuckintraffic phone call marathons are some of the shambliest conversations ever heard. This will also be one of my shortest posts because it would be near impossible to give my @j_pesek testimony without giving away a bajillion inside jokes. How Teresa Giudice has a show and we don't is a question we frequently ask each other. Rihanna apparently found love in a hopeless place, while Jenn and I found friendship across the backyard of a hopeless fraternity event. And the rest is history. So here we are almost a year and a half later. Nail polish color decisions are a group effort. Mirror pics of outfits are a must. Random fratty cards I find and must send to Miss Priss in DC are a commonality. We are loyal like this is The Godfather and neither of us want to go fishing with Fredo. And Lord knows we put together some soundtrack worthy Spotify playlists. Which is why this Wordy Wednesday is dedicated to Aunt Srat, the woman who taught me to embrace dark nails and never be sorry.

"I was good, she was hot stealin everything I got"

Cause when you're done with this world, you know the next is up to you

Cause one of these days I'll be born and raised

He's legal. It's a terrifying thought and kind of makes me feel old because my 18th birthday feels like yearsssssss ago even though yes it was technically years ago But it actually, technically, if things had gone as planned shouldn't be Joe's birthday because he was precisely due to be born on Dad's birthday, October 23rd. So, if you're a math wizard like me you probably figured out the little Pekarsky showed up 5 weeks early, bringing my reign as evil queen to a sudden end. Okay so maybe that's a little dramatic I'm still evil after all. Without crying at my desk don't worry my door's shut I am the luckiest Sissi in the world to have Joseph John Pekarsky as my blonde hair blue eyes Aryan Race little brother who people mistaken as my boyfriend. If I screen shot-ed and shared every outrageous text conversation the two of us had, mom would somehow find them and then kill us. It's like Bridesmaids, we can communicate across the backseat of the car Sophie usually in the middle with just a look followed by laughter and Julie being confused He is one of the smartest, kindest, weirdest, funniest, irritatiest yes I just invented that word, in honor of you Joe most loving, most giving, smelliest people I not only know but have the pleasure of being related to. I would be lost without him or the random meems I receive when half asleep I will never yell louder than I did when he needed to just pass that damn kid at regionals which he DID and took 8th in the Region or look like a bigger dofus when I sobbed at his confirmation why no one in our family thought to brought tissues to that is beyond me So it's our first Jofus Birthday without Joe actually being home and I know it's killing us all a little deep down inside, so here's my final birthday present to you baby brother. I love you. Happy Birthday.

"I could watch you for a lifetime. You're my favorite movie. A thousand endings, you mean everything to me. I never know what's comin'. Forever fascinated. Hope you don't stop runnin' to me, cause I'll always be waitin'. You are a cinema I could watch you forever. Action thriller, I could watch you forever. You are a cinema, a Hollywood treasure. I love you just the way you are. A cinema, a cinema. Never know what movie you're playin'. My cinema."

Some of it will end, and the leaves will turn again

We're almost there, half way, the light at the end of the hallway just past the glare of your computer screen and the sounds of the copier, also known as Wednesday! It's a frigid 63 degrees here in Music City, definitely seat warmer weather, so it's time to find that perfect fall soundtrack. I don't watch The Voice yes yes I know, eye roll so I don't have a 50 Shades of Grey worthy fit every Tuesday when Adam Levine and his tattoo'd self hits that big red button and seductively turns his Dr. Evil like chair around. But I do have the joy of seeing re-pins of pictures of his half naked or that one strategically placed hand fully naked payphone abusing self on Pinterest at least a good five times a week. And although I'm more of an NFL player drooling girl I must admit yes he's gorgeous but I"m more in love with his new album with Maroon 5 "Overexposed" fitting title. This is one of the FEW albums I've been able to play on shuffle and never skip a song. So pick your poison, love song or #whitegirlproblems anthem, either way you won't be disappointed. So lock your bedroom door, work that updo, and strut it out in front of your Target full length over the door mirror.

"but temptation got me lost...but your perfect little body makes me fall apart."

"and I remember your eyes were so bright, when i first met you, so in love that first night."
I will not lie, first time I heard this, I cried.

A thousand endings, you mean everything to me

#postgradgameday
I love birthdays. Like, love them. Mostly I love mine oh my God be honest you feel the same way but as I've grown up 22, I know, I'm ancient scheming, picking out, and shambley wrapping my family and loved ones' birthday surprises has become a fun little game. After successfully surprising the pants off mom for her big 55th I have never been so proud to hear screaming coming from the laundry room, it is now on to my sweet little brother who becomes legal next Monday, but before him two of my best friends hit the big 23 and 24. AARP should be sending letters to us all soon. I have a stationary fetish Rex Ryan has feet, I have Target thank you notes so birthdays are the perfect excuse to feed the $5.99 card monster. Mara Mi and Papyrus are my absolute favorites and both available at Target IT'S A MATCH and can squeeze into any 20 something's "fabulous and broke" budget. So there's my shameless plug for what my dad would call "excessive" stationary and a heads up to look for a very special HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOFUS I got you a stripper, KIDDING post next Monday September 24th, the 18th anniversary of my life being ruined kidding..maybe

OH and GO STEELERS, BLACK AND GOLD. and still GO VOLS!
