31 Prayers for My Future Husband- Jennifer and Aaron Smith
"This book has been written to be a starting place and/or guide to help you begin your lifelong journey of praying for your future husband and marriage. "
Before you jump to conclusions... no, I am not praying for God to send me a boyfriend or a husband.
But rather praying for guidance for whoever my person is in their journey on their way to me, whenever that may be.

Wearing:
OPI's Black Cherry Chutney
It's no secret I love dark nails, black being my go-to. However, it's not very Christmas-y so I switched to this darker but festive hue for the holidays.
After all, there's plenty of time for back to black for NYE.

Five on Friday
1.
There's new Taylor Swift. I repeat, there's new Taylor Swift.
Before it even finished downloading, I texted Sara and sure enough she had already listened.
Check out the new teaser trailer with the track below.
2.
If you didn't have plans for this weekend, now you do... Season 2 of Fuller House is now streaming on Netflix! Should have this finished before the Steeler game Sunday.
3.
Keeping on theme with "New Arrivals" My Kind of Lovely has a ton of new arrivals going live on the website and in store today! MuMu, sweaters, Christmas tees. Hurry and get 'em while they're hot! [and still in stock]
4.
Can you tell it's the holiday season?
Lilly rolled out new arrivals this morning too.
I spy one of my all time favorite prints Southern Charm hidden in accessories.
5.
If you're looking for [inexpensive] gift ideas for your girlfriends, or for yourself, use my code for a free first month of Rocksbox. Think Rent the Runway but all jewelry and no timeline on your rental. I requested my first box using a code like this last year and now count down for my next box to arrive! You won't regret it.

Five on [the first] Friday [of December]
Here are five ways you can help Gatlinburg and victims of the wildfires this week.
Some are strictly donation based while some are merchandise benefitting the relief fund.
Every little bit helps!
1.
Project 615 is donating100% of the profit from the "Heart for the Smokies" tshirt towards the Gatlinburg Relief Fund.
2.
Text PFG to 91999
or online at https://app.mobilecause.com/f/150t/n
3.
Starting this weekend, if you shop at any Food City you can donate any dollar amount at the register. If you don't live in East TN, don't worry Publix is offering the same opportunity.
4.
If you'd like to donate directly to the relief fund, you can mail checks to:
Gatlinburg Relief Fund
SmartBank
P.O. Box 1910
Pigeon Forge, TN 37868
SmartBank locations will also be accepting donations.
5.
Donation centers have been overflowing with supplies, so much so that they've asked for people to stop dropping off. Therefore monetary donations are best right now. However there is the one thing we can all do, that there will never be enough of, and that is prayers.

#NCCupfrontfest
Wednesday night, the media team headed down to Atlanta for the NCC Upfront Fest.
Upfronts are a huge perk of the job but this is the first year I've gotten to travel for them!
The theme was "We're Psyched" and festival dress was encouraged. Anyone who knows me, knows I love a good theme party! The food was amazing, there were light up drink cups, cotton candy, teasers for new show, and a photo booth!
Check out some of our favorite shoots below..

Season of Thanks
Today is November 3rd. Which means....Thanksgiving is only three weeks from today. And with the way this year has flown by I'm sure I'll be watching the parade at home in the blink of an eye.
Next week I'll start my She Reads Truth Beatitudes two week study but as something to do the entire month I have Emily Ley's Month of Gratitude on my fridge. Every night while making dinner or before bed I write down I'm thankful for that day. This is a great way to challenge yourself and dig deeper and appreciate all the people and things in your life.
Join me!

We gotta carry on darling
When the rain came
It washed us out to sea,
I'm holding what I love,
And she's holding on to me,
It's no surprise,
It brought me to my knees,
You're never really ready,
You're ready as can be,
The sun was coming up
We were sifting through the sand,
Looking for the pieces
Of our broken plans
It's gonna take a while,
We're gonna get it back,
We gotta carry on darling
We were built to last.
Changing tides,
Baby thats the hardesr part of life,
Hold me tight
And we will move as one in the changing tides.
There's no doubt the beauty that we see,
Following the path, so much older than we.
Lovers built it with their hands, walked it with their feet,
Above the raging waters and the darkness underneath.
Changing tides,
Baby thats the hardesr part of life,
Hold me tight
And we will move as one in the changing tides.
And we will move as one in the changing tides.
When the rain came
It washed us out to sea,
I'm holding what I love,
And she's holding on to me,
It's gonna take a while.
It's gonna come back,
We gotta carry on darling,
We were built to last.
Changing tides,
Baby thats the hardesr part of life,
Hold me tight
And we will move as one in the changing tides.
Changing tides,
And we will move as one in the changing tides
And we will move as one in the changing tides.
Cannot wait to finally see them live next weekend in Nashville!

"I wanted to watch with my dad"
This week's episode of This Is Us was all about Steeler football.
I always tend to geek out when the Steelers are on any show I watch, but this Steeler reference had me in tears, happy tears, but tears. This might be because it had been a rough day when I watched it. But most likely because last weekend was my dad's birthday and he is the man who taught me to love football and the Steelers.
Football is our thing.
We are constantly talking sports, that's mostly what we talk about actually.
We talk shit, we talk injuries, we talk trades, we talk about how much we hate Mike Tomlin.
It's our love language you could say.
In this episode the dad, Jack, is wearing an identical hat to my dad's Steelers ski cap. The whole family is watching the game together waving their Terrible Towels and when they score Jack puts his hat on the daughter, Kate. And that's when I lost it.
There's a picture of me that hangs on my fridge of me in my dad's hat.
I am extremely blessed to have such an incredible father. I don't tell him that enough. And I realize it's sad that it took an episode of a sitcom to make me realize that but such is real life.
There's a framed picture on my desk of dad and I at my first Steeler game at Heinz Field that I look to whenever I'm missing him. I can't wait to take another when we go again in December or to tell him just how much I love him when we talk sports tonight.

Lately: October
Listening:
The new One Republic on repeat, at work, at home, in the car, cannot get enough.
I might have already looked up tour dates for this album [don't get too excited, only LA and NYC have been announced.] I am a lyric geek and this album kills it.
My Top 5: Choke, Fingertips, Heaven, Let's Hurt Tonight, Human.
Watching:
Where do I begin? Fall TV is back and it is glorious.
Here's my current Hulu watchlist: American Housewife, Chicago Fire, Notorious, This is Us, Lucifer, Timeless, Scream Queens, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?, Designated Survivor.
Reading:
Big Little Lies- Liane Moriarty
Sara read Liane's library of books last year and loved them.
Reese Witherspoon is producing the HBO miniseries version of Big Little Lies set to premiere next year and I am pumped.

Wearing:
If you know me at all, you know I'm a mascara junkie. I am that girl that at times has had three mascaras in her makeup bag to get the perfect lashes. My current tube dried out right before a client meeting last week so it was an emergency run to Target. The makeup gods were on my side because I found the greatest mascara ever: L'Oreal Voluminous Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara.
[all the praise hands]
Loving:
Last week She Reads Truth announced the Advent 2016 study and I absolutely cannot wait for mine to arrive. The girls then one-up'd themselves by releasing The Beatitudes study leading up to Thanksgiving! Right now if you order both you get 20%.
These are studies you'll use over and over!

You just roll with the punches
The separation was symmetrical
They both retreated to their sides
Drawing lists of demands
And muddy lines in the sand
Trying out their separate lives
Most of the damage was collateral
But still inspired some debate
All the principles of why all the people we love
Are the same as we also can hate
You just roll with the punches
Until you can't feel a thing
You just roll with the punches
Aww yeah
The separation was logistical
Deciding what belongs to whom
How dying love manifests
In a rug or a chest
The decorations of a room
Every promise was negotiable
Most of all the ones they made alone
When she finally forgave
What he'll take to his grave
Learning not to pick up the phone
You just roll with the punches
Until you can't feel a thing
You just roll with the punches
Aww yeah
He starts existing as a miracle
A man of static right behind your eyes
That you filter everything through
Without knowing you do
A past and future synthesized
You just roll with the punches
Until you can't feel a thing
You just roll with the punches
Aww yeah
You just roll with the punches
Until you can't feel a thing
You just roll with the punches
Aww yeah
